Programme to set up a Postgraduate College offering full time and part time executive MBAs and the ILM Level 4 and 5 awards in Management. Target audience overseas students. Ownership of whole programme planning and delivery:
- Produced a full Business Plan with 3 year cash flow forecast; Identified requirements and selected a campus
- Constructed role definitions for all Top Team roles, identified prospective candidates and built succession plans
- Carried out TNA for target groups
- Built a full IT Infrastructure plan for campus, classrooms and library
- Accreditation process with Business Accreditation Council
- Full stakeholder engagement and communications planning and delivery
- Network of agents in target market(s); Risk analysis and management
Anti Caste Discrimination Alliance Chair and Programme Manager
- Managed a politically high profile programme to introduce an amendment to the Equality Bill against a backdrop of governmental resistance, through senior stakeholder engagement and influencing.
- Engaged senior stakeholders from 40 NGOs to engage with the Home Minister, CLG (Department for Communities and Local Government), GEO (Government Equalities Office), MPs and the Lords in seeking to get caste included in legislation as a protected characteristic.
- Conducted research over a 3 month time period covering 300 participants across half the UK.
- Published this research and launched it in the House of Lords in November 2009.
- Engaged 6 Lords and Bishops, 4 Baronesses and 25 NGOs as key stakeholders in pushing this change through during the Second Reading and Committee Stage of progression of the Equality Bill in the House of Commons and House of Lords.
- Held meetings with Senior government officials to push our case and with the NGOs, jointly showed the strength of feeling behind this programme and persuaded them to make this change.
- Key success criteria achieved - a 400% improvement in the degree of co-ordinated actions and unity shown by the many NGOs we involved and inclusion of clause 9(5)a into the Equality Act.

- Designed and developed leading edge courseware using accelerated training techniques
- Managed global rollout of this product, designed and implemented a provenance and governance structure

- Managed a programme to recruit a 100+ strong nationwide sales force for a Legal partnership.
- Benchmarked to establish market information and performed a competitor analysis,

Managed the design, development, trial and implementation of a new performance management system
- Benchmarked organisations to identify best practice

- Performed change assignments as Principal Consultant for Parity, QA and Xansa (now part of Sopra Steria) for their global clients that included Boots, HSBC, Barclays and HBoS, influencing others in transformational change and risk management
- Developed 22 senior and middle managers in the Scottish Government and the General Registers for Scotland, plus over 1000 more in other blue chips, in stakeholder engagement, managing projects and PRINCE2™.
- Delivered a change intervention in Birmingham City Council facilitating 11 stakeholders including the Chair of the LLB in taking their change programme forward; planned succession for key roles.
Royal MailHR Programmes Manager
- Devised and implemented a new budget management process for the marketing portfolio budget (of £578,000), reducing overspends and introduced monthly reporting.
- Managed a virtual team of internal senior managers from different business units and Directors from the IDM, when contracting them to design and develop a leading edge training programme (IDM Certificate in Direct Marketing for Publishing Salespeople) and produced savings of £25k for the programme.
- Project managed the introduction of a Learning Resource Centre, set key measurement criteria, obtained political sponsorship and staff buy-in and implemented a complete communications programme, breaking 6 monthly targets by 135%.
- Managed the introduction of a major IT Training programme for 32,900 staff (200% achievement against target). Recruited 2 trainers for operations training
